We are renting this house until we can buy or build one of our own. When Nelson wanted to move to Logan, I pictured us renting a cute little old fashioned Logan home like my Grandparents' old home. It's kinda like renting a home in Sugarhouse. We looked at a bunch of those and I was sold. They were more money of course so Nelson just wouldn't do it. This house is newer and a lot less money, but it is TINY! Call me a snot but it is. I am not lying when I say I am struggling with this one. Nelson really owes me I think.
When we pulled up to the house with all of our stuff, my Mom said the house looks like it could be a garage. Enough said. All you have to do is stand in the hallway and do a 360 and you've pretty much taken a tour of the place. The house is set back a ways. This driveway is going to be a nightmare in the winter. Nelson is trying to use it as an excuse to buy himself a snow-blower.
My Mom told me to think of one good thing to say about the house. I told her this tree on the south side of the house is really pretty. Taggert likes it too.
This is our backyard. I am not lying. It ends at the posts you see here. The whole yard is weeds. We don't have any grass. Luckily there is a field in the back and it gives the illusion we have a larger back yard. It gives me something pretty to look out at out of the kitchen window. We do have a side yard though (still just weeds unfortunately) Everyone is invited to a huge backyard barbeque at my place on the patio as soon as we're settled! The old tenants were nice enough to leave us a bunch of junk garbage on the side of the house to get rid of.
This is the street in front of our house. This is our church just across the street. That's handy.
