I finally got a job at Logan Regional Hospital. My time of commuting is over. I really liked my job, so this was hard for me. I have worked at PCMC for 8 years and Riverton Hospital pediatric unit since October. It is the same staff at both places, we work at Primary's some shifts and Riverton the others. My last shift was at Riverton. This is our view which was so refreshing because the view from PCMC was either the city or the U Hospital parking lot.
This was after a graveyard shift. This is Katie and me.

I cried as I left of course. Mostly this is because there were so many fun people that I worked with. The majority of the staff were around my age and going through similar things in life. It was like high school but without all the crap. It took me a long time to get to know so many people there, as there are tons of employees at PCMC. It honestly took forever to know who worked in radiology, housekeeping, ENT clinic and so forth. The other reason I was sad is because I thought, where would I be if I had never worked here? It helped me to reach higher goals and become a better version of myself. I am grateful for this opportunity in my life and excited for my new adventure in Logan. As Sue Hittle, our trusty clerk, told me "This is how we grow." How right she is.
