June 5th, Evy and Coleman went fishing with Nelson at Glendale Reservoir in Idaho. Evy was very proud of herself for catching this fish.
Evy had a sleepover with her babysitter Jessica overnight when I had to work really early the next day and Nelson was out of town.
June 14th, We stopped at the Summerfest in Logan on our way to Bear Lake. Evy loves getting her face painted. It was a cold weekend which was a bummer.
June 15th, I told Evy to put her swimsuit on under her clothes and this is what she came out wearing. We didn't last long at the beach because it was super cold.
Coleman is so nice to help me unpack.
June 19-22nd, Sublett Reservoir. Nelson got Coleman this coon skin hat for Christmas last year. Oh my.
We had some fun caneoing. It was really windy by the reservoir which was a bummer. Our camp spot wasn't as bad. Taggert followed us across the whole reservoir. He swam the whole way and back.
Evy loves babies; I mean loves them. This is our friend Amber and her baby Shelby.
Holly, Coleman and Avery sitting in front of the reservoir.
Nelson and Robin caught butterflies for the kids and they were obsessed with them.
Nelson and Robin always do some sort of shooting during down time. My kids took turns shooting. We got Coleman a mini bow after this campout because he loved it.
Evy, Coleman (in the cooler spot) and Avery.
We tied the raft to a rope to the truck and let the kids float. They freaked when it came undone but Robin saved the day in time.
I made chocolate lava cake in the dutch oven. My kids always have to help and they always have to lick the bowl.
Every campout must include a dance party to Dolly Parton's greatest hits in our trailer. Our trailer has a tape deck. How awesome is that? We inherited the tape when we bought the trailer and I've loved it ever since.
Avery has a 4 wheeler. This is Evy riding it. They love it.
I like watching my kids sleep when we are camping.
Nelson roasting weiners.
Nelson getting fly fishing tips from a man. I am sure Nelson made his day.
Robin watching Nelson cut firewood. Can we say bromance?
The reservoir at night.
Blowing bubbles.
The best part is getting a flat tire right after leaving our campsite. Luckily we were able to pull over at a gas station right before the freeway. You can see the entrance there. We were super lucky it happened when it did.
The best part about this super weird gas station in Sublett is the llamas that are fenced up around it. We always stop there when we can. It is in the middle of nowhere. This picture brings me great joy.
June 25th. Evy's friend Kate Robbins moved away and they were sad to leave each other. My kids were babysat at their home while I worked. My kids loved their kids and I was good friends with their mom. It stinks when people move away.
