April 2015

April 8th we went to the North Logan Fire Station for a tour for joyschool. I was supposed to have my baby the next day but my doctor ended up being sick so we cancelled the induction. The firemen could not stop talking about how pregnant I was and how I better not go into labor there. It was funny. I got to hear their wild stories of helping moms deliver in emergencies.

Mr. Coleman was actually shy. Rare occurrence.

Nelson wrote me a love note in chalk on our driveway. What a sweetheart.

April 11th our baby finally came. My water broke just as we went to bed. This has been my routine with all three kids. I was so excited he was here safe and that I was not pregnant anymore. We named him Nolan Leo after Nelson's grandpa and his grandpa's brother Leonard.

Nelson and the babe. Two babes actually.

Nolan and Evy. She's been wanting a baby for a long time. She was hoping for a sister but loves her brother.

Nolan
First time in the car seat for the ride home. This always makes them look really tiny.

Finally home. It's so weird bringing a new baby home. It's such a game changer. I love it though. It adds a new dimension to your family.

Grandma Elena came up to help. This is her version of FHE. Bible videos on the ipad.

He is starting to look like a Holland, my mom's side of the family. I was playing him broadway music here and it's safe to say he liked it like his mommy.
It was a super snowy day but my brother was nice enough to take some pics of my kids at his house in his studio.

It was a cold day so it was hard to get pictures on Nolan happy.

I want you to know I paid a 14 year old neighbor to do Evy's hair. True story. I have no hair skills.

If this doesn't make you love red headed boys then you're crazy. I love the crooked tie and goldfish cracker residue on his face.
Coleman and I with matching toes. This kid loves to join Evy and I when we do our nails. I have to talk him out of painting his fingernails. I am not always successful.

Nelson built our kids a little clubhouse in the field behind our house. Evy, Kami, Coleman and Taggert.

Aunt Crystal came to visit Nolan. She loooves babies.

This is what happens when you play in that clubhouse I showed you earlier.

Grandma McFarland coming to meet Nolan.

My baby

Coleman didn't quite get the concept of flip flops.

One of my favorite things to do. This baby has been worth being pregnant for 9 long months.

Evy and Coleman love going to Robin and Amber's house in Tremonton. They have a fun backyard as Evy says.

Nelson has started flying small airplanes again. Another hobby he put to rest for several years only to resurface again.
