Yellowstone Trip July 2-5th, 2009

At the farm in Firth, Idaho. Grandma Carol had been bailing hay all day at age 82.
We stopped at their house on the way to and from Yellowstone.

Nelson on Grandma and Grandpa's pond (more like a lake) they created on their property. My grandpa Ford put 220 fish in here.

Of course Nelson took tons of pictures of elk.

This just pretty much explains Elena. The lower caption says "uncontrolled plumbing"

Sunset on Lewis Lake.

We had a wonderful hailstorm two days in a row. I really wanted a trailer at this point.

Washington Lake June 27, 2009

Nelson and I went to Washington Lake near Kamas, Utah. Nelson bought this canoe last year from Wisconsin and got a swinging deal from bugging the manufacturer over and over.

It was a little bit cold so I was covered up everywhere except my ankles. Here is the dumb part: I got a nasty sunburn that still won't go away two weeks later. My left ankle swelled up and now my ankles look stained purple. I didn't even think about sunscreen on my feet.

At a waterfall near Washington Lake. Isn't it lovely how you can see my waistband from my stretchy maternity pants?
