Mommy's little angel

Evy sneezes one of these out almost every day. It's a delight. She'll thank me for these pictures someday, she really will.

In the middle of a fussy moment.

Our new place in Logan

We are renting this house until we can buy or build one of our own. When Nelson wanted to move to Logan, I pictured us renting a cute little old fashioned Logan home like my Grandparents' old home. It's kinda like renting a home in Sugarhouse. We looked at a bunch of those and I was sold. They were more money of course so Nelson just wouldn't do it. This house is newer and a lot less money, but it is TINY! Call me a snot but it is. I am not lying when I say I am struggling with this one. Nelson really owes me I think.

When we pulled up to the house with all of our stuff, my Mom said the house looks like it could be a garage. Enough said. All you have to do is stand in the hallway and do a 360 and you've pretty much taken a tour of the place. The house is set back a ways. This driveway is going to be a nightmare in the winter. Nelson is trying to use it as an excuse to buy himself a snow-blower.

My Mom told me to think of one good thing to say about the house. I told her this tree on the south side of the house is really pretty. Taggert likes it too.

This is our backyard. I am not lying. It ends at the posts you see here. The whole yard is weeds. We don't have any grass. Luckily there is a field in the back and it gives the illusion we have a larger back yard. It gives me something pretty to look out at out of the kitchen window. We do have a side yard though (still just weeds unfortunately) Everyone is invited to a huge backyard barbeque at my place on the patio as soon as we're settled! The old tenants were nice enough to leave us a bunch of junk garbage on the side of the house to get rid of.

This is the street in front of our house. This is our church just across the street. That's handy.

We moved from the Sandy house Oct. 17, 2009

This post is mostly for the Ashworths, so we can all be a little nostalgic...
Nelson's parents built this house over 31 years ago. Nelson was born here (not literally but you know) We bought the house over 4 years ago but have lived there for over 5 1/2. Nelson wanted to move to Logan so we moved out and I really miss the house! (We still own it for a little while but soon it will be sold) It's the end of an era.

Here is the backyard. Notice the family picnic table along the house.

I'm not sure what year they did this but obviously they were all very young. Crystal must have been a baby still. This is on the east side of the house by the fence.

Evy just hung out in her swing while we all moved.

Connie packing stuff into the truck from the garage.

Gene and Karlene in front of the home they built. They have since moved to Lehi.

Nelson, Holly, Evy and Taggert. Nelson and Evy were both born in this house. Nelson 1978. Evy 2009.

Nelson's sister Cheryl and her family.
L-R Sara, Hailey, Pete, Cheryl and Chandler

These are the front room windows we all loved. There is a perfect view of the mountains. You can even see skiers coming down the slope with a telescope. This was the perfect room to sit and soak in the sunshine. Taggert loved sitting here because he could watch the neighborhood at all times. Notice my neighbors across the street putting up their decorations they do every Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Conference weekend at our house

Still too lazy to hook up tv, so we listened like the 1940s to the radio.

Well, some of us listened...
