Nelson had to work Thanksgiving and the next day so I went to Firth, Idaho to visit my grandparents. My parents, grandparents, Aunt Michele, Cousin Stacy, Evy and I all enjoyed a feast prepared by my Grandma Carol.

On Saturday we drove to Grouse Creek to our friends' place for the weekend. Yes they do swim in that tub out front in the summer.

We drove into the mountains to find a Christmas tree to cut. We found this old abandoned fort that was used while herding cattle. I am so glad this is not my house. I figured though, if you had dirt floors, do you ever have to bother cleaning?

Evy playing in and eating the snow while they hiked up and cut the tree. I waited at the road and didn't hike up because I probably wouldn't have made it down being 7 months pregnant.

Holly, Nelson and Evy. It is about 12 or so feet high. Our ceilings are around 11 feet. So we'll have to trim it down a bit. I have never cut down a Christmas tree before. It was pretty fun picking out which one to have.
