May 2015

May 3rd, Cinnamon rolls at Casey's.

Coleman and Nolan in the double stroller.

Look at that Cow lick. Good lands.

Coleman playing dress up in his old Halloween costumes.

Dinner at Café Sabor. Fried ice cream.

Nelson and Nolan

Coleman drinking rain water out of a dip in our rock. Yum.

He's enjoying the baby toys.

Holly and Nelson on our 12th anniversary. We headed to the cabin in Bear Lake overnight.

Shakes at Chevron is our thing.

Evy loves holding the baby. I love how he has a tummy now.

I got chocolates for mother's day. Did my kids insist I share? Yes they did. They can sense chocolate from a mile away.

1 month old

May 11th, Joyschool graduation at Lion's Park.

I took off Nolan's diaper and he sent a missile of poop my way. Notice it went all over my bed too.

May 13th, Joyschool day at the zoo.

Coleman, Evy and Livia.

Coleman went to a preschool assessment with my next door neighbor Shalese helping.

As we were walking in, he randomly tripped on the sidewalk and face planted it.

Coleman channeling Igor.

Holly and Nolan

Nelson, Nolan and Coleman. His face is still recovering.

He started smiling at 4 weeks old.

May 21st, Evy finally graduated after 2 years of preschool at Kareen's. It's finally time for kindergarten.

Evy and Kareen.

Getting ready for her dance performance by taking pics.

Steve came to visit. This is his type of bonding.

May 22, Nelson got a gift basket from his coworkers for his upcoming treatment at Huntsman for melanoma. This was his last day of work for 9 weeks. They knew just what to buy. They got him all the perfect things.

Nelson and the fishing blanket they made.

May 24th we got together with Nelson's family for a dinner and much needed blessings. My kids were with my family at my Grandma's in Idaho except the baby.

Nelson, Holly, Pete, Cheryl, Darren, Camille, Crystal, Dan, Brett and Connie

Nelson and Nolan. Our last night of freedom for a very long time.

We reported to Huntsman Cancer Institute on Memorial Day for treatment but my kids got to have fun. This is Evy with my Grandpa Ford.

Evy and Sawyer.

Winston, Coleman, Evy and Judy Cox on one of our many canal rides in South Jordan.

May 29th, As Nelson was going through a really hard time, I felt this shirt (which I bought a long time ago before any of this crap) was appropriate, don't you think?

April 2015

April 8th we went to the North Logan Fire Station for a tour for joyschool. I was supposed to have my baby the next day but my doctor ended up being sick so we cancelled the induction. The firemen could not stop talking about how pregnant I was and how I better not go into labor there. It was funny. I got to hear their wild stories of helping moms deliver in emergencies.

Mr. Coleman was actually shy. Rare occurrence.

Lily, Sam, Coleman, Evy, Livia, Andrew and Caleb

Amelia, Robyn, Holly, Lily, Sam, Coleman, Evy, Livia, Andrew, Caleb, Shonna, Hannah and LaNae

Nelson wrote me a love note in chalk on our driveway. What a sweetheart.

April 11th our baby finally came. My water broke just as we went to bed. This has been my routine with all three kids. I was so excited he was here safe and that I was not pregnant anymore. We named him Nolan Leo after Nelson's grandpa and his grandpa's brother Leonard.

Nelson and the babe. Two babes actually.

Nolan and Evy. She's been wanting a baby for a long time. She was hoping for a sister but loves her brother.

Grandma Elena and Nolan

Evy and Nolan

Nolan
First time in the car seat for the ride home. This always makes them look really tiny.

Finally home. It's so weird bringing a new baby home. It's such a game changer. I love it though. It adds a new dimension to your family.

Grandma Elena came up to help. This is her version of FHE. Bible videos on the ipad.

He is starting to look like a Holland, my mom's side of the family. I was playing him broadway music here and it's safe to say he liked it like his mommy.
It was a super snowy day but my brother was nice enough to take some pics of my kids at his house in his studio.

It was a cold day so it was hard to get pictures on Nolan happy.

I want you to know I paid a 14 year old neighbor to do Evy's hair. True story. I have no hair skills.

If this doesn't make you love red headed boys then you're crazy. I love the crooked tie and goldfish cracker residue on his face.
Coleman and I with matching toes. This kid loves to join Evy and I when we do our nails. I have to talk him out of painting his fingernails. I am not always successful.

Nelson built our kids a little clubhouse in the field behind our house. Evy, Kami, Coleman and Taggert.

Aunt Crystal came to visit Nolan. She loooves babies.

This is what happens when you play in that clubhouse I showed you earlier.

Grandma McFarland coming to meet Nolan.

My baby

Coleman didn't quite get the concept of flip flops.

One of my favorite things to do. This baby has been worth being pregnant for 9 long months.

Evy and Coleman love going to Robin and Amber's house in Tremonton. They have a fun backyard as Evy says.

Nelson has started flying small airplanes again. Another hobby he put to rest for several years only to resurface again.
